Emerge Weight Loss offers one of the most competitive pricing in the market. We, however, have some concerns about the licensing verification and the identity of the prescribing provider. While communication is responsive as reported by users, a recent study found that almost half of the patients on GLP-1 dropped off due to side effects, it is important to have face-to-face interaction with the prescribing provider to manage on-going progress and adverse reactions.

Emerge Weight Loss is available in all states across the United States, except California. It is probably because of the exclusion of many compound pharmacies within California as well as strict regulations and shipping requirements. 

About Emerge Weight Loss

Emerge Weight Loss was founded by Sherryl Ashberg, MD, based on Juniper, Florida. While the exact date of its founding is not specified, user testimonials indicate that the service has been operational and gaining traction at least since late 2023. 

A note about prescribing providers: 

while we were able to verify Dr. Ashberg's license in Florida, we did not find a current license under the same name in New York, Texas, Maryland, Georgia, or Virginia. The virtual clinic also employs Amanda Savoie ARNP-C, a licensed Nurse Practitioner. According to Nursys, Amanda currently holds a license in the state of Florida, but we couldn't confirm her license in other states such as Texas and New York. Because Emerge advertises its service being available in all states except California, it is unclear who the prescribing provider is. 

According to user reviews on Reddit, the prescribing providers at Emerge are noted for their responsiveness and streamlined processes, operates primarily through online communication.
